Richard Shuster is a proud “Double Gator”, graduating with a degree in Finance in 1991 and his Juris Doctorate in 1994 from the University of Florida. He began his legal career at a boutique civil litigation firm in Jacksonville, where he represented national and multinational corporations such as Volkswagen and Home Depot before moving to Miami. In 2004, Richard co-founded Shuster Saben Estevez in Miami. Richard is the managing partner in the firm’s Space Coast office in Satellite Beach. Richard has over twenty years of litigation experience, and litigated thousands of Personal Injury Protection claims on behalf of medical providers.
Mr. Shuster also heads the firm’s foreclosure defense and consumer protection practices. He litigated dozens of foreclosure trials on behalf of homeowners throughout Florida and his opinions are sought by other attorneys in this field statewide. He has been a featured speaker and lecturer at multiple continuing legal education seminars on foreclosure and consumer law issues. Richard is familiar with many regulatory, corporate and asset protection issues facing health care providers and is married to a medical doctor. Richard is AVVO rated “Superb” and won an AVVO client choice award based upon outstanding client reviews. As a community leader in 2014, Mr. Shuster was appointed to the Board of Directors of Brevard Legal Aid.
In his free time, Richard enjoys photography, watching Florida Gator sporting events, and finding good bar-b-que joints throughout the country.
